Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the development of conceptual plans, master plans, and lotting studies

• Conducts project research and reviews local development codes and regulations
• Prepares base maps and project graphics to support the planning process

• Conducts land use and site analysis
• Prepares general plans and subdivision plats
• Prepares, collects and coordinates project documents
• Prepares subdivision and zoning applications
• Coordinates with local governmental agencies
• Coordinates with civil engineers and other consultants
• Assists with special planning projects as directed by leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, or related field
• 1-5 years of demonstrated work experience
• Solid understanding of planning principles, practices & techniques
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, GIS, & Adobe Suite software
• Creative problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet firm deadlines
