Position: Perl Programmer

Location: Cleveland, OH

Duration: 12+ months

This developer will primarily be writing code in Perl to be used as a preprocessor to tear records apart and apply business logic for their printing software.  This will extract outputs that will go into their HP Exstream software (no prior experience with HP Exstream necessary).  They will also learn the client’s proprietary software Power stream.  This all serves the printing obligations for one of their largest clients.

Job Description:                

The client is looking for an Perl developer to assist them with current and future projects, specifically for the Exelon Account. They have a large, local customer that they print and mail statements for.

Day-to-Day Duties:

Candidate will be programming with Perl that will be used as a preprocessor to tear records apart, apply business logic and ultimately interact with the HP Exstream content.

This person must come from a Unix/Linux background. Must be familiar with XML File Structure and have worked with raw data.
