As a regional leader, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology clinics at the University of Washington offer highly specialized gynecologic care including vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted surgeries for a wide range of conditions. Our MIGS surgeons treat uterine fibroids, endometriosis, nonmalignant pelvic masses and ovarian cysts, menstrual bleeding disorders, cervical dysplasia, and pelvic pain.
The OBGYN Generalist Division has an outstanding opportunity at the level of Teaching Associate to join our Women’s Health Care Center clinic at the Roosevelt location. This is a full-time, 12 month (July 1 - June 30) academic position on a yearly appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2024. Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The successful candidate would have experience providing perioperative care and women’s health care including common gynecologic conditions, wellness visits, and routine obstetrics care. Clinical teaching experience and experience working collaboratively with a surgical team is valued. This teaching associate would work with our MIGS and generalist faculty and obstetrics/gynecology residents to provide full scope ARNP/PA-C/CNM clinical services for gynecologic clinic and surgical patients (gynecology and obstetrics).
The base salary range for this position will be: $9,167 - $12,500 per month ($110,004 - $150,000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
