Job Id:   ** MCD - 0010 Job Title:   Sr. Project Engineer Location:  Houston, Texas Resource Manager:  Marc Morrow Description: Sr. Project Engineer • Reports to Project Manager and Construction Manager. • Responsible for financial and technical success of area of project. • Acts as a deputy PM and takes over for PM at certain stages of the project. • Assists and ensures preparation of Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Scope of Work and Change Orders. • Prepares weekly internal and customer reports, project procedures, project meeting minutes and subcontract package scopes. • Monitors/expedites/reviews procedures and calculations approval, delivery of materials and equipment with Procurement Manager, daily progress with Sr. Production and Operations Offshore Field Engineers, use and development of Lessons Learned across project and documents for client approval. • Ensures operations carries out work in accordance with engineering details, procedures and specifications. • Conduit for cross-functional information and data for integrated project schedule, QC Plan with Project QA Manager and technical queries across project disciplines and between project and suppliers. • Managers Graduate Trainees & Project Engineers or Coordinators. • Has basic understanding of a portion of company’s business. • Builds rapport with and gains respect from people with varied experience and background. • Understands and promotes Company’s Vision, Mission and Values. • Understands and promotes Company’s HSES Standards. Job Requirements * Education: • BS or Diploma in a relevant Engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Ocean, Naval, Architecture, etc) or Construction Management Experience: • Minimum 8 years of experience in an Engineering or Construction environment • Minimum 2-3 years as Project Engineering or Project Coordinator • Preferred experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry Qualifications: • Basic knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.
