Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for providing on-site retail sales support in the market area assigned. Support is achieved through hands-on selling to customers, continual training and motivation of Beauty Advisors and Selling Specialists, assisting in planning and executing all special event programs, and follow-up training of Beauty Advisors and Selling Specialists.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct retail sell-thru and execute promotional programs in retail accounts, following HQ direction.
- Recruit, engage, and motivate in-store personnel (Beauty Advisors and Selling Specialists).
- Partner with Education to provide new and ongoing product and sales training to in-store staff, including new programs, suggestive selling techniques, and client registration programs.
- Train at-counter team on selling through overstocks and discontinued items by looking at the stock control book and determining slow selling items or products that are under-performing relative to other accounts.
- Execute visual plans in territory for all generic and promotional events programmed with the account and with Guerlain.
- Responsible for client registration specifics, working with Beauty Advisors, encouraging and assisting in updating the customer files, writing notes and making telephone calls to customers, and for any other administrative service.
- Maintain Guerlain counter image at accounts (e.g., cleanliness, effective use of merchandising units, proper placement of product lines, etc.).
- Monitor the performance of gift with purchase and all sampling programs. Promotional recap forms to be completed and submit to NYO (Sales, Marketing, and Planners) at the end of the promotion.
- Conduct productivity evaluations for all in-store staff in territory on a monthly basis.
- Participate in events as required.
- Conduct all other job-related activities.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Account Executive and/or Regional Sales Manager/Director
Qualifications
- 2+ years of prestige beauty sales experience; multi-store sales experience preferred
- Spanish speaker preferred
- Prior experience as Business Manager, Sales, and/or Training
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Achievement oriented
- Solid business acumen and good financial aptitude
- Strong leadership skills
- Multifunctional with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to drive and maintain valid driver’s license
- Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $65k-$75k.
