Role : Automation Developer

Location : Englewood

Duration : 10 Months

Rate : $50/hr On C2C (Max)

Job Description :

Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and develops fixes. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

Develops new software applications, and supports current applications.
- Handles development tasks in all software tiers including user interface, web service, business logic, integration, and database.
- Analyzes and determines integration needs.
- Creates and evaluates software designs, test results and technical manuals.
- Creates and reviews technical design documentation.
- Works with Quality Assurance team to confirm that applications fit specification and technical requirements.
- Works with Database Administrators and Architects to confirm that database elements meet performance and storage requirements
- Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
- Displays knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.
- Displays in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, project management skills.

Required Experience:
7+ years software development experience
2+ years Puppet experience
3+ years Java experience
3+ years J2EE experience
3+ years linux experience
1+ years Oracle database experience including stored functions/procedures and triggers
1+ years WebLogic 11 or later
Experience using configuration management tools including GIT
Experience using build tools including maven
Experience with Agile methodology
Experience with Jenkins, Hudson or Cruise Control
Experience with Artifactory

Desired Experience:
Experience with Ansible, Salt or Chef
Experience with Python
Experience with Cloud technologies
Experience with NoSQL databases
Experience with Hadoop
Experience with developing REST or SOAP Web Services
Experience with WebLogic clustering
Experience with Jenkins
