Responsibilities:
Complete all HVAC system installations efficiently and accurately
Responsible for developing and training apprentices
Prioritize and complete general and daily responsibilities
Maintain a clean, organized job and well inventoried company van
Exhibit excellent customer relations skills
Assist with the coordination of job materials, labor and equipment
Work with other departments as needed as a team
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Industrial/Commercial HVAC experience
Working knowledge of the installation of all types of HVAC systems and materials
Proficient in reading, interpreting, and comprehending blueprints and drawings
Must be able to work safely off of ladders and manlifts
Reliable transportation
Proficient in the installation of roof top units, exhaust systems, and make-up air systems
Welding experience is a plus
Strong leadership and managerial skills are a must
Valid Driver's License
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
