The Associate Flow Cytometry Specialist is responsible for duties associated with preparation of Testing Final Reports, while ensuring accordance with current Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Laboratory Studies. This includes effectively interacting with Testing, Project Management and Quality Assurance (QA) personnel in order to deliver and maintain accurate company documents.

Shift: Monday through Friday 12:00pm – 8:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Prepares Final Reports from laboratory batch records.
  • Edits Batch Records, Client Protocols and Final Report documents for Testing personnel.
  • Delivers prepared Final Report documentation to internal personnel in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintains and updates corporate calendar referencing the QA Audit/Client Visit Calendar or approved personnel instructions for upcoming visits, audits or meetings or any other scheduled events.
  • Provides administrative help for immediate supervisor and other Study Directors.
  • Works on routine assignments per written procedures, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
  • Normally receives minimal instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • Works under close supervision from supervisor or senior personnel.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Maybe required to work Holidays and weekends.
  • Maybe required to work Overtime.
  • Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals.

Qualifications

  • 6 months of relevant experience
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Experience with Flow Cytometry assay on any automation platform
  • Experience with BD Canto, BD Lyric, and Macsquant preferred.
  • Experience with Cell passaging, Cell count by Hemocytometry or by NC-200 – preferred.
  • Understanding of ELISA-based assay preferred.
  • Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
  • Need to be able to read, write and understand English
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
