Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Anesthesiology with a focus on Pediatric Anesthesiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABA certification with subspecialty certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pennsylvania licensure required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching both in our formal didactic lecture program as well as in the informal teaching of medical students, residents and fellows rotating through the Operating Rooms.
Attendance and participation in lectures, presentations, and conferences within the division as well as multidisciplinary conferences is expected.

Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of clinical anesthesia and medical direction in the Operating Rooms and other anesthetizing locations at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Locations include the Philadelphia and King of Prussia campuses.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include investigator-initiated and collaborative research.

In addition to excellence in teaching and clinical care, responsibilities include investigator-initiated and collaborative research. The non-tenure Clinician Educator track involves a substantial commitment to research and evidence of continuous scholarly productivity reflecting a defined focus is required.
