Razorfish is looking for a Communications Manager to join our corporate communications team!
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will partner closely with the PR Lead and Internal Communications Lead to support the tactical execution of internal and external engagement strategies intended to connect the brand to our employee population, media outlets, and the industry at large.
The ideal candidate for this role brings balanced, well-rounded experience across internal and external communications and can flex between those disciplines, supporting whenever and wherever needed.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring onsite collaboration an average of 3 days/week. The role is based out of our New York City office located at 375 Hudson Street; all candidates must be local to the NYC metro area and willing to commute into that office on a regular basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the PR Lead and Internal Communications Lead and with other cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of internal and external communications strategies.
- Align efforts with overall organizational objectives and strategic initiatives including executive communications, business strategy, learning and development, diversity & inclusion, HR, and recognition, among others.
- Conceptualize, draft, edit, and distribute content for distribution through internal communications channels (including emails, town halls, presentations, and newsletters) in order to keep employees informed about company news, updates, and initiatives.
- Manage internal communication channels (including company intranet, email newsletters, and internal messaging platforms) to amplify internal initiatives and facilitate effective communication across the organization.
- Create external communications materials (including press releases, thought leadership articles, media pitches, etc.) in support of media relations and public relations initiatives, ensuring the company’s messaging is consistent, impactful, and aligned with both brand and values.
- Partner with external PR agencies and journalists/media outlets as needed.
- Help to identify newsworthy story angles to secure positive coverage for the company, increase brand awareness and visibility, and earn media coverage.
- Track, monitor, and analyze communications efforts and relevant metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a listening strategy and respond to feedback, adjusting communications accordingly in support of reputational goals.

Compensation Range: $84,500 - $98,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
