This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing overall Quality Assurance (QA) and testing processes to ensure that HR Tech products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery. This role is unique in that it requires a strong understanding of business processes and organizational context in order to write test cases to support improvements. These test cases will support functional and cross-functional teams, which requires technical, business knowledge, security and reporting experience.
Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance (QA) and testing strategy and processes to ensure that HR Tech products (solutions, data/audit, security) meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
Work with project managers, HRIS Analysts, and cross-functional teams/sponsors to understand project objectives, requirements, and priorities.
Partner to align on scope/deliverables needed for QA/testing (smoke, regressions, data conversion/load/audit, end-to-end, user acceptance testing, security testing); provide subject matter expertise to create and document comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and/or scripts to address all relative scenarios.
Responsible and accountable for driving all aspects of testing and QA measures: Preparing test/QA strategy and identifying quality measures, outlining stages and roadmap for delivery, driving all test/QA prep and execution, coordinating approvals, ensuring that support/execution resources are available/committed, measuring/tracking test/QA results, and reporting out.
Facilitate tracking/reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution as needed.
Maintenance of test execution documentation and related results; maintenance of testing best practice documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures. Involvement in all releases: bi-annual Workday releases and other.
Lead key reporting, audit, and data quality initiatives as assigned.
Lead Workday security/access provisioning and governance process; collaborate with IT as needed.
As requested, lead small-to-medium scale tech, configuration, reporting/audit, and/or security projects.
General Workday troubleshooting support and root cause investigation as needed.
Participate in technical and project meetings with functional/cross-functional partners as needed.
Work on multiple projects/initiatives across multiple topics daily.
Experience writing and testing Workday solutions.
Ability to translate business needs into effective testing strategies.
Ability to adjust schedule to meet global project needs/demands; ability to support a split-shift-type schedule as project work dictates.

Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise. For most roles travel would not be common. Travel may involve plane, car or metro. In accordance with ADA policies, reasonable accommodations regarding travel limitations can be provided. Travel will be more common for roles such as Account Executives (25 - 50%), senior leaders (10 – 20%) or Capella Core Faculty (5 – 10%).
Ability to work onsite in Corporate or Campus location (in a typical office environment) may be required based on role. If so, this would include being mobile within the office, including movement from floor-to-floor using elevators or stairs.
