Responsible for incoming customer calls regarding order input and /or issues listed below.
Responsible to handle credits, allowances, return authorizations, tracking orders, shipment issues, defective and quality claims.
Responsible for accurate and timely order entry from multiple sources (email, fax calls, web) including customer contact and / or sales representative contact when needed.
Responsible to assist with web orders and / or website ordering issues.
Assist other customer service representatives to improve service levels, promoting teamwork and striving to accomplish departmental goals. Provide the customer service manager with recommendations to improve policies, systems or service methods when necessary.
Work with other departments including distribution center staff, accounting and the credit department to resolve issues.
Provide training of new customer service representatives .
Assist with special projects as needed by the Manager or Marketing
Job Requirements:
2 years former customer service experience.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, sense of urgency, team work, and leadership.
Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
