Job Description :

This opening is for a Business Systems Analyst for a very large Reporting Renewal project.
The goal of the project is to convert our Business Objects report & dashboard portfolio to IBM's Cognos 11.

Familiarity with Date Warehouse platforms and working within Agile teams leveraging the Scrum framework is a must.
Experience with Cognos is a big plus.

The Business System Analyst, BSA, will be responsible for driving out user stories, as well as facilitating and execution of testing.
Will work closely with the individual business process owners in each business area to understanding reporting requirements and testing needs.
Will provide evaluations and recommendations for any items believed to have an impact on project deliverables.
Will look for opportunities to consolidate reporting and dashboard solutions.
Assist with Change Management activities.

Will create assigned documentation in conformance with AEP established project guidelines, unless otherwise modified and approved by project team leadership.
Will need to communicate effectively with technical and business resources assigned to the project.

Other possible Responsibilities, if assigned;
Coordinating with off shore conversion partner,
Assist in the development of business case documentation,
Assist with coordination activities related to execution of the test plan,
Identify appropriate test data in relevant source systems, and incorporate this data into test scripts to document expected results for testing activity.,
Assist with project activities relative to data preparation for incremental deliveries.,
Assist in other areas of addressing project related issues, as assigned.

Required skills:
Bachelor Degree in relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business.
Five or more years of related experience.
Facilitation of elicitation and analysis sessions in both group and individual.
Strong business analysis skills.
