About the Company:

Our client is a private investment firm hiring a Senior Accountant to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. This role reports to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for all accounting-related activities.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain books and records, process various investment-related transactions in Advent Geneva accounting system
Prepare partner allocations for various entities in Geneva World Investor and Excel
Reviewing daily P/L, exposure, and valuation reporting
Reconcile daily cash balances and be responsible for cash movements
Reconcile receivables/payables
Assist with the preparation of the monthly valuation testing schedules
Prepare quarterly investor statements
Perform Monthly and Quarterly close, including the closing of trial balances, and preparation of supporting documentation for internal investment portfolios
Review offering documents, including fund marketing materials
Prepare and review year-end US GAAP financials

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required
3-5 years of experience in public accounting, or a mix of public accounting and
Fund administration experience with a focus on hedge fund or hedge fund/private equity preferred
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with accounting portfolio systems; i.e., Advent Geneva and World Investor preferred
CPA is a plus

Salary Range:

$85,000-$100,000
