Our client is an investment adviser with over $20 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The firm has over 250 employees and has been consistently ranked a top 10 firm in the country. The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for the accounting, valuation, and internal controls for a portfolio of diverse assets and manage a team of 1-2 accountants.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate month end close process and review monthly NAV
Review complex investor allocations and PE style waterfalls
Prepare and analyze various reports for management, investors, and regulators
Oversee external administrator
Oversee the audit and financial statement process and liaise with auditors
Evaluate and perform various internal control functions
Various special projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
5-8 years of fund accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and at a private asset management firm
