Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Fluorescent Penetrate Inspector (FPI) to perform Liquid Penetrant Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products.

Responsibilities

  • Review routers, procedures, specifications, drawings and other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform operation 
  • Set-up, operate, calibrate, and perform Process Control Checks on NDT (Liquid Penetrant Test) equipment by following established instructions and record results
  • Interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results as required
  • Develop and grow to Level II inspector within first 12 months

Skills / Qualifications

  • High School diploama or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, data and details furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
