 Who We Serve 

Pacific Clinics' Neurodevelopmental Services program serves neurodivergent (e.g., autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, ADHD, trauma, etc.) children, transitional age youth, adults, and families throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties. We offer crisis stabilization services, educationally related mental health services, play therapy, neurofeedback, Safe and Sound Protocol, EMDR and other developmentally appropriate services.

JOB SUMMARY

Works within the agency and program’s vision, mission and philosophy, and policies of the agency in partnership with the leadership team. In collaboration with the director, the Neurodevelopmental Services (NDS) Program Manager oversees clinical and administrative operations and fiscal viability of the assigned NDS program. Responsible for professional development and training of staff in multidisciplinary teams (e.g., behavior program coordinator, clinicians, BCBA, LMFT, etc.) to meet performance goals and ensure consistency in service delivery expectations (e.g. documentation, supervision, program policies & procedures, payor requirements, etc.). Ensures provision of high-quality services, provides clinical supervision, management, training across multidisciplinary teams, and develops programs to promote growth and implementation of quality evidence-based service within the regions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES

Operations

  1. Responsible for meeting performance goals and ensure consistency in service delivery expectation (e.g., documentation, supervision, program policies & procedures, insurance requirements), programming (effective treatment, treatment fidelity), and outcomes across NDS services in partnership with the Behavior Program Coordinators who is responsible for the Behavior Technicians.  
  2. Collaborate with Clinical Director to manage contract, funding agreements, and agency policies and procedures, and collaborate with the Outcomes Department to evaluate the effectiveness of the NDS program.
  3. Manage professional relationships with payors/external customers (e.g., educational services, health insurance, regional centers). 
  4. Work with Clinical Director to proactively monitor, evaluate, and manage programmatic business trends, and adapt business processes accordingly.
  5. Implement business plans and processes to adapt program to regional needs and local cultures, design systems to ensure consistent and efficient program administration, and respond to contractual, environmental, and internal changes.
  6. Provide programmatic and agency-wide leadership by participating in multidisciplinary/cross-functional teams/committees (e.g. Electronic Health Record, Peer Review, audit, and/or review meetings to ensure regulatory compliance). 
  7. Manage to ensure fiscally viable programming and compliance with all policy and procedures including adherence to all licensing, quality, IT, HR, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  8. Gather, compile, analyze, and utilize program data, to inform management and quality control. 

Clinical

  1. Develop high-quality, evidence-based Neurodevelopmental Services programs, oversee implementation, and monitor progress across all payors (i.e., insurance, education, regional centers).
  2. Identify program training needs, evaluate effectiveness of trainings, and implement trainings to support and promote program needs.
  3. Provide consultation and trainings to other Pacific Clinics programs to build capacity within the agency to serve individuals with developmental disabilities and other behavioral health diagnoses. 
  4. Provide leadership, coaching, and clinical expertise for all direct service staff (e.g., behavior technician, program coordinator, licensed professional). Provide direct clinical and administrative supervision to program coordinators, clinicians, and licensed professionals. 
  5. Hire, train, supervise (through direct observations), and maintain overall performance management of supervisees, including providing crisis intervention and supervision of clients during significant events.
  6. Assist with new hire onboarding and collaborate with the Training Department and Human Resources Department to coordinate specific trainings and ensure all trainings are registered in the agency training database.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in social work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related human service field (e.g., Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology) required; and California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Ph.D. or Psy.D.
  • Four (4) years of experience in the design and implementation of behavioral intervention services, including parent training and 
  • Three (3) years of experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or other behavioral health diagnoses required; and 
  • Two (2) years of experience in administrative management (e.g., performance management, productivity, operations).

OR

  • Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field (e.g., Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology) required; and 
  • Two (2) years of experience in the design and implementation of behavioral intervention services, including parent training and 
  • Three (3) years of experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or other behavioral health diagnoses required; and 
  • Two (2) years of experience in administrative management (e.g., performance management, productivity, operations). 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience interfacing with healthcare plans regional centers and educational systems.
  • Knowledge of neurodiversity and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
  • Experience implementing trauma-informed care.
  • Bi-lingual and/or bi-cultural knowledge and experience preferred.
