Summer 2024 Internship - 40 hours/week - up to 12 weeks, starting late May/Early June. 

Candidates must be local to Chicagoland for consideration.

Purpose & Scope

Support the Medical Affairs Department with operational functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop a basic understanding of the role of Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Assist in creation of Medical Information Responses for three medicines.
  • Reformat and update content of clinical training modules for new hires.
  • Reformat and update content of training materials for a potential new product.
  • Assist with preparation of protocol and case report form for a long-term data collection project.
  • Potential interactions with healthcare providers, publication vendor, cross functional departments

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

Education & Experience

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay: $19.00 per hour
  • Eligibility for medical benefits and company 401k

Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. 

Working Conditions

 Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

  • Work will be on-site in the Commercial Buffalo Grove Office.
