Summer 2024 Internship - 40 hours/week - up to 12 weeks, starting late May/Early June.  Candidates must be local to Chicagoland for consideration.

Purpose and Scope

Support the Analytics team and grow your analytical testing and characterization knowledge and skills in a pharmaceutical sales environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The projects scope will vary as needed and may include the following.

  • Work with Analytics team to support ongoing and applicable development projects.
  • Assist the team in identifying opportunities for increasing department efficiency.
  • Work with the team to collect and synthesize sales data for content analysis for a particular product.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of new technologies and ability of applying it to business analytics.
  • Skill in effective communication, both orally and in writing.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Ability to work individually and ability to handle self-driven projects efficiently.
  • Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Education & Experience

  • Student pursuing a degree in computer sciences, business analytics or business administration.
  • Have achieved an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher.
  • One or more year’s administrative experience, preferably in computer science field.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay: $19.00 per hour
  • Eligibility for medical benefits and company 401k
  • Exciting projects and company events to enjoy all summer.

Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. 

Working Conditions

 Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

  • Work will be on-site in the Commercial Buffalo Grove Office.
