5.5 hours per week

We currently offer two Saturday recreation programs – one with a focus on recreation and the other with a focus on social skills for children with autism. All programs include a wide range of skill enhancement through music, arts and crafts, cooking, movement dance and indoor and outdoor play. Swimming in the outdoor pool is available during the summer months.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working with children with various diagnoses including Autism, ages 5-20yrs. Previous experience working with children with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred. Good organizational and supervisory skills necessary. Must be able to commit to every Saturday.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Ensures that participants have structured activities planned and that activities are age and ability appropriate. Assists in being responsible for the well-being and safety of the participants.
