The Territory Manager will be responsible for:
Prospect for new customers (cold calling)
Increase market share and drive growth at assigned accounts.
Understand common industry and customer challenges, requirements, and expectations to drive meaningful engagements and solutions.
Assist with on-site troubleshooting and the collection of necessary technical and detailed information required to properly service customer.
Engage with Sunset’s Customer Service Agents and Partners to develop the appropriate solution, proposal, and business case.
Create materials for marketing and conduct sales presentations to customers
Educate customers about features and benefits of products to improve product related sales and customer results.
Ensure customer relationships are positive and deep within accounts.
Foster productive and healthy sales engagements and negotiations.
Resolve critical breakdowns which may require being on-call nights or weekends.
Remain current on product developments by attending training (company/supplier), reading trade journals, supplier literature etc.
Work with leadership to provide business planning to exceed product and sales goals
Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support sales
Personally accountable for time allocation and priorities to reach goals and applying efforts to high ROI opportunities
The ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of High School Diploma/GED required
Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
Deep knowledge of the distribution industry (Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fluid Power, Electrical, Motors, Motion Control, Material Handling, Bearings).
Thrive in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
Excellent driving record and a valid driver’s license required
Technical competence with applications used for quotes, sales orders, purchasing, inventory management.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain service levels to customers and team members.
Able to work in a team environment.
