Job Description
Ryde Technologies is seeing a Solution Architect of Information Security to be a billable consultant initially, and over time build out our Cyber Security consulting practice. This will complement our client's existing services offerings: Management Consulting, AI, Data & Analytics, and Technology Services & Solutions.
This leadership role is responsible for balancing project execution with practice-related business development. The SA of Information Security, will provide thought leadership, identify, cultivate, and close opportunities, and ensure high-quality security services are provided to meet client needs. The candidate will oversee and participate in the delivery of strategic advisory services, security assessments, and implementation of security solutions to protect clients' data assets, systems, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Business Development:
- As a billable consultant, run the Information Security workstream at one of organization's major clients, and expand our footprint through quality delivery.
- Cultivate relationships with key clients, partners, and internal colleagues to originate net new sales pursuits and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Lead end-to-end proposal and RFP response processes, providing written content that demonstrates understanding of the prospect's issues and company's delivery approach to maximize win rates.
- Design and package security consulting offerings, methodologies, and deliverables.
- Establish pricing models and delivery processes.
Practice Management:
- Grow or hire a billable delivery lead after 12 months, or sooner if the business supports it.
- Leverage your network to bring new consulting candidates to compnay. Interview all Cyber Security consulting candidates regardless of source.
- Identify and sign-on the “right” strategic software partnerships.
- Develop the appropriate content for presentations and RFP responses
- Work with organization’s marketing department to ensure our website, social media, etc, reflect our Federal past performance and capabilities.
- Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing security consulting teams.
Client Engagement Management:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of client security engagements from presales to delivery.
- Keep sales stages of your opportunities current in organization's pipeline application.
- Collaborate with company’s contracts department to ensure all NDA’s, RFI’s, RFP’s etc. are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage billable resources and ensure successful project execution within scope/budget.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive cybersecurity domain expertise and experience leading consulting teams.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration ideally in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- 5+ years of technical hands-on experience, leading, developing or implementing best in class Cyber Security software solutions.
- 5+ years of sales engineer experience, with a proven track record of either expanding the services footprint for their employer or obtaining net new business.
- Experience in the Federal sector is required.
- A TRUE leader, with the ability to grow, help others around them grow, and grow company’s business.
- Extensive knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.), practices, and technologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.)
- Previous experience at a global consulting firm or professional services organization.
- Technical depth in areas like cloud security, application security, data protection.
- Expertise in multiple domains (e.g. healthcare, pharma/biotech, government, etc.)
- Knowledge of major security technology solutions and vendor landscape and related networks.
