POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join our finance team. As an A/P Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that all payments are made accurately and on time. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records and resolving any discrepancies.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus
• Proven experience working in accounts payable or a similar role
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work AP Queue assigning invoices to proper processor, respond to vendor inquiries and provide outstanding customer service
• Collect all pertinent Vendor Data, W-9 and contacts and enter into ERP System
• Collect and match credit card receipts to credit card statements
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues
• Review employee expense reports and process reimbursements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free office environment
