Schedule

Mon - Fri: 8 AM - 5 PM (40 Hours)

What You’ll Do

  • Working with department management, responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, developing, promoting, compensating, and disciplining subordinates within current policies and procedures established through Human Resources and within approved budget guidelines.
  • Proactively anticipate business opportunities, participate in investigation, design, and execution of those initiatives - analyze solutions, build the business cases, influence stakeholders, make recommendations and drive the execution of desired changes.
  • Oversee the Mortgage System Administrator team and/or Secondary & Loan Delivery team of the Mortgage department.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining department analytics reporting and ensuring data integrity of all information used.
  • Ensure all department Policies and Procedures are accurate and current.
  • Coordinate with various areas within the credit union to accomplish department initiatives and goals.
  • Oversee department call monitoring system and ensure proper reporting.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Manager(s).

What You’ll Need

  • 1-3 years of leadership and related experience in field
  • BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of State, Federal and NCUA compliance regulations
  • Experience with Mortgage Loan Origination and Point-of Sale Systems, and Mortgage Servicing Platforms
  • Technical Skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Professional Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of mortgage industry data and current issues, including knowledge of mortgage lending, origination, servicing, underwriting quality control requirements and due diligence.
  • Knowledge of Loan Originations System (LOS), Point-of-Sale (POS), and Product & Pricing Engine (PPE).
  • Knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac seller/servicer guidelines
  • Knowledge of SCRUM & Agile methodology for project management a plus
  • Experience with Blue Sage Solutions, Optimal Blue, LoanServ, Tableau, JIRA, or Confluence a plus
