Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, is seeking an Elite 3E Systems Analyst to join the firm’s IT Department. The Elite 3E Systems Analyst reports to the IT Supervisor, Elite 3. They will be responsible for the support and maintenance of Elite 3E and other finance applications in development and production environments. Akerman has adopted a hybrid workplace environment, and this position can be based in any of our U.S. offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as a liaison between the IT and Finance departments to provide technical support for Elite 3E and all related applications including SSRS reports, Budgeting, Paperless Proforma and Arcs Collections, 3E Time Entry and 3E IDE.
  • Support open issues, upgrades and other work with third party providers including Client Pay, Chrome River, Positive Pay, ezSigner etc.
  • Receive support requests from the Help Desk, contact user, evaluate the issue(s) and provide either a solution, or escalate the issue to Elite support for resolution.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues with scheduled processes and other system maintenance routines.
  • Deploy and test Microsoft monthly support patches in Development and Production.
  • Support the Information Technology team by providing to provide database support for non-financial applications.
  • Participates on large scale special projects including software conversions and upgrades;
  • Assists with selection, planning, testing, implementation and integration of third party applications and interfaces.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields preferred.  Experience may be substituted in place of a degree.
  • Prior experience working in law firms or professional services firm strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting Elite 3E and other financial systems strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with law firm Finance department processes including Banking and Trust, Billing and Collections, Accounts Payable, Time Entry, Budget and Soft Costs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and create SQL queries.
  • Experience building SSRS reports and working with Power BI preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with .NET and XML preferred.
  • Ability to multi-tasking as operational needs dictate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
