Project Manager

This is a contract opportunity.

This is an in-office opportunity in New York, NY.

 

About this position

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the Global Supplier Services organization, serving as the primary liaison between GSS/Global Market Data and technology teams throughout the program management life cycle.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead ongoing Stakeholder steering committee meetings.
  • Track enhancements, issues, data quality, and functionality testing, including providing ad hoc Tableau support to the Global Market Data team.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts across teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and proactively communicate training materials, how-to guides, and best practice documents for end users.
  • Manage project prioritization and resource allocation, acting at a project manager level.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to analyze needs and align product roadmap with strategic goals.
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications, ensuring clear documentation and understanding among relevant teams.
  • Ensure regular, concise, and clear communication with key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop, track, and report on project plans, managing deliverables and dependencies across projects.
  • Mitigate roadblocks to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a Project Management/Agile framework, representing Stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence.
  • Effective communication and interaction with all organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Market Data/Expense Management and Reporting Experience within the investment banking/financial services sector.
  • 10+ years of relevant project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management methodology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Extensive experience with Tableau.

Systems Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project), with macro skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of Tableau capabilities and functionality.
  • Experience with General Ledger query tools, Ariba procurement systems, and Market Data inventory management tools (e.g., TRGScreen’s FITS/Optimize Spend, Calero’s MDSL, etc.).

Additional Information:

  • This role is in the financial services sector.
  • 12-month contract with the possibility of extending/converting

Pay Range:

  • Pay Range: $45-$55/hour.
