Clean and repair of custom shell and tube heat exchangers for the refining and petrochemical industry.
Basic Function:
The Cleaning Coordinator is the single point of contact from receipt of a job order through product shipment. The Coordinator is the liaison between the customer, production shop, engineering, and purchasing. The Coordinator creates all production schedules and updates them as required, attends daily production meetings, and handles all tube plug orders.
Major Duties:
Pick up / transport
Prepare quotes
Scheduling priorities in cleaning shop
Handle all Inspections (NDE & API 510)
Complete and Release of change orders
Preparation of shipping paperwork
Job entry / P.O’s / Job closures
Skills Preferred:
Strong customer service and relationship skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read a fabrication drawing
Experience with purchase orders, quotes, logistics and/or job specifications
Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience: 1-3 years of experience with the cleaning of shell and tube exchangers or a closely related industry that would directly lend itself to the individual being successful in the cleaning and repairing of heat exchangers. Related industry experience could include pressure vessels, boilers or similar equipment. Experience with ASME Pressure Vessel Code, TEMA and/or API is a definite plus.
