Join Nihon Kohden as a Product Manager for Digital Solutions. In this role, you will manage strategic commercial marketing initiatives for our innovative enterprise software, AI products and server solutions, focusing on improving clinical outcomes and driving efficiencies, providing interoperability, scalability, and cybersecurity for healthcare providers.

Success in this endeavor will ensure clinicians have continuous access to the data they need for accurate and informed decision-making. You will report directly to the Director of Marketing for Patient Monitoring.

Essential Functions and Main Duties

  • Collaborate with Nihon Kohden’s NK Digital Health Solution subsidiary to enhance existing digital health solutions and develop new products.
  • Support product development decisions for current and future enterprise software and server solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings. Provide insights to the marketing leadership team regarding opportunities to expand into new adjacencies and business models.
  • Articulate future steps necessary for sustaining the business's growth trajectory through a deep understanding of the current business landscape.
  • Generate business plans, market requirements documents, presentations, and supporting materials to unite all functional groups behind a common vision.
  • Coordinate the collection, description, analysis, and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers.
  • Conduct competitor and market assessments.
  • Collaborate with other functions to finalize product specifications.
  • Assess the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market products; support internal and external customer education programs and provide product training as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Perform any other duties directed by management to ensure the overall success of the organization.

Qualifications

Education / Certification / Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing

Experience Preferred

  • Upstream and/or downstream product management marketing experience
  • Experience with predictive analytics and medical software products
  • IT/Networking background
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Master’s degree/MBA in Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • Strong computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and the effective use of presentation software

Compensation

The anticipated range for this position is $68,000 to $136,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, experience and location.

Working Conditions

Schedule: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Hybrid work schedule between office and home as aligned with manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Company’s discretion.

Physical: Generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 20 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication in English. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.

Travel: Approximately 20%
