Responsibilities
- Use of mechanical testing equipment such as room temperature tensile frames, stress rupture frames and charpy impact hammers
- Interpretation of internal and client requirements
- Maintaining accurate and systematic records
- Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
- Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
- Data interpretation and reporting

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will need to be/have:
- Positive and "hands on" attitude
- Sound mechanical capabilities
- Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous
- An understanding of a recognized Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial
- Self-motivated Technician with the ability to multi-task, organize and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
- A team player attitude with good interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
