Job Title:  Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for commercial properties
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems
  • Maintain and repair interior and exterior building finishes
  • Paint and touch up walls and trim
  • Light electrical maintenance for emergency lights, exit signs, lamp sweeps, etc.
  • Replace light bulbs and hang banners
  • Complete and submit paperwork
  • Keep facilities clean in appearance, removing trash as needed

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year college or technical school a plus
  • Driver’s license
  • Experience working in the trades or adjacent industries preferred
  • Ability to read and write in English, including safety rules, equipment manuals, maintenance instructions, standard operating procedures, etc.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Will work in full range of indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Will perform some work on scissor/boom lifts and from ladders
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, push/pull, twist, stoop, squat, lift, crawl, and climb
