Position Summary:  The AZEK Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior National Account Manager to join our team. As the leading manufacturer of innovative building materials for outdoor living spaces, we are looking for a driven and results-oriented professional to lead our Home Depot business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail account management, exceptional relationship building skills, and a deep understanding of the warehouse home center business. This is a high-profile role within the organization.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Sales Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction for the Home Depot business. Expand our market share position through shelf share gains, special order program enhancements, and successful execution of business objectives. 
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships with The Home Depot.  Build and maintain strong relationships with key account personnel, including merchandising, marketing, and sales personnel.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the retail industry. Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess competitive positioning, and recommend appropriate sales strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure effective coordination of sales efforts and alignment with company-wide initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports and analysis to the executive team. Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data to drive continuous improvement and optimize sales strategies.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share. Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with the overall company objectives.
  • Sales Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets for the Home Depot business. Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure financial objectives are met.

We believe the successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 -5 years of experience in a senior level sales role.
  • Strong understanding of the retail home center industry, including trends, dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of the building materials industry or related industries is highly desirable.

Success Measures:

  • Ninety (90) days:
    • Introductory Meetings with key customer contacts and cross-functional team members .
    • Complete Product Knowledge training including Azek University and Boot Camp.
    • Market Visits with Retail and Pro Sales team.
    • Learn about key account priorities, active projects, and strategic focus areas. 
  • Six (6) Months:
    • Assume lead for Home Depot Category Management via actionable POS insights. 
    • Hold business reviews with Home Depot Decking and Trim Merchants.
    • Lead internal meetings for all Home Depot projects and focus areas.
    • Build out plan to improve AZEK / TimberTech presence on homedepot.com . 
  • One (1) year:
    • Strong execution against all retail financial targets and stretch goals.
    • Thorough understanding of key AZEK business processes.
    • Demonstrated strong relationships with key Home Depot personnel.
    • Active engagement with distribution partners to insure strong special-order performance and customer satisfaction.

Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.  The annual salary for this role is $128,500 to $158,500.  In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
