EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer in TX, with multi-state licensure considered a plus
LEED Certification preferred
5+ years of engineering consulting experience, including client interaction and project management
In-depth knowledge of mechanical building codes and construction standards
Strong understanding of DDC controls and controls design
Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and Energy Modeling
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex problems and exploring collaborative solutions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conceptualize innovative HVAC layouts
Generate design drawings and specifications for MEP equipment and systems
Conduct calculations to bolster system designs
Coordinate detailed project phases efficiently
Participate in site visits, drafting meeting minutes, and preparing site observation reports
Oversee construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals, addressing RFIs, and attending meetings
Fulfill additional assigned duties as needed
