EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer in TX, with multi-state licensure considered a plus
- LEED Certification preferred
- 5+ years of engineering consulting experience, including client interaction and project management
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical building codes and construction standards
- Strong understanding of DDC controls and controls design
- Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and Energy Modeling
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex problems and exploring collaborative solutions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conceptualize innovative HVAC layouts
- Generate design drawings and specifications for MEP equipment and systems
- Conduct calculations to bolster system designs
- Coordinate detailed project phases efficiently
- Participate in site visits, drafting meeting minutes, and preparing site observation reports
- Oversee construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals, addressing RFIs, and attending meetings
- Fulfill additional assigned duties as needed
