In the summer and fall of 2024, we will have up to three psychology faculty positions available as we open the Center for Behavioral Health and Learning on the campus of UWMC-Northwest.
Positions are at Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor.
Psychologists will have opportunities to deliver care to adult inpatients via individual and group settings, participate in multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to quality improvement projects, and interact with trainees from a variety of different programs.
Clinical faculty hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2024. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research/scholarship, and service.
