Functional Pathways, a leading therapy services provider, is seeking a Full-time Director of Rehab at Forest Hills of DC in Washington, DC.

Forest Hills of DC in Washington, D.C. is an elegant and luxurious senior living community that provides exceptional care to its residents. Our facility offers a range of amenities and services, including personalized therapy programs, to support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our residents. As a therapist at Forest Hills of DC, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated and experienced healthcare professionals, while helping our residents lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid and current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a therapist, with a solid foundation in physical, occupational, or speech therapy.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a senior living or skilled nursing facility.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of rehabilitation best practices, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to mentor and motivate a team of therapists, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Passion for working with the senior population and dedication to promoting their independence and overall well-being.
