Essential Functions: • Work with product development and support staff to document, categorize and classify information used by our various business systems. • Create and maintain custom and vendor provided data dictionaries for all business systems. • Database and data warehouse design across multiple platforms and computing environments. • Support new and existing development projects with logical data and process modeling activities. Provide entity, logical and physical data models. • Communicate to leadership within our partner companies to convey the importance and business value of data architecture. • Promote information management strategies that drive value to our organization and integrate our business systems. • Keep pace with latest trends and technologies related to information management to guide our future business strategies. • Participate in data governance processes related to data quality and information management • Assist in product evaluations for technology to support the Enterprise Data Office. • An understanding of the staffing or professional services profession a plus. Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: • Strong people skills including the ability to effectively and concisely communicate orally and in writing across all levels of the organization. • Demonstrated strong analytical skills including the ability to solve problems in a systematic, logical and effective way leveraging defined processes and methods. • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and ability to work independently to meet individual and team goals • Ability to handle multiple projects or issues concurrently • Familiar with concepts and strategies of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). • Familiar with enterprise ERP and CRM systems such as PeopleSoft and Siebel Special Requirements of the job: • Experience with Cisco Data Virtualization - Cisco Information Server (CIS) • Experience with Big Data topologies such as NoSQL, Hadoop, etc. • Knowledge of cloud architectures |
