Responsibilities

Providence Medical Center is looking for full time Maintenance Engineers to join our growing and dynamic staff!  The Maintenance Engineer III duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • maintains accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital
  • provides for a safe working environment
  • maintains and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems
  • maintains the building and its related systems
  • certified and/or licensed in a specific trade that is directly related to healthcare engineering

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • five (5) years’ experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
  • able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints
  • ASSE 6040 Medical Gas Systems Maintenance certification, preferred
  • certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam Boiler, HVAC, electrical, etc)
  • building automation experience, preferred
  • valid state driver’s license
  • high School Diploma or equivalent, required
