Fairfax University of America in Fairfax, VA is in search of a variety of Adjunct Faculty at the undergraduate and graduate level to teach ON-CAMPUS for our School of Business to include the following subjects:
- Project Management
- Ethics and Law
- Marketing
- Accounting and Finance

What You’ll Do:
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate students onground in your field of expertise as specified in the schedule and course contract
- Evaluate and select text and instructional materials
- Develop and manage the class syllabus that includes course objectives and learning outcomes, teaching methodology, attendance and late assignment policies in line with those of the department
- Plan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments
- Deliver course content using a variety of teaching styles and provide interesting and engaging assignments that demonstrate the real-world applications of concepts covered
- Grade assigned papers, quizzes, and exams and assess grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and exams.
- Follow and implement the academic integrity code and regulations of the university for students’ assignments, papers projects and presentations.
- Use the University’s learning management system (Canvas) to post syllabus, assignments, and other materials and to communicate with students
- Stay updated on innovations and changes within field of expertise
- Provide quality education and service to diverse student body to meet the objectives of programs of study and prepare students to effectively participate in the global community and workforce
- Support relevant university initiatives
