Job Description
Position Overview:
As an Information Technology Project Manager at Citizant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of an IT modernization initiative for one of our clients. Leveraging your extensive experience in managing teams and overseeing complex IT projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of our IT infrastructure across hybrid multi-cloud environments. Your strategic vision and leadership will be instrumental in driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering tangible business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for IT modernization initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address potential risks and issues.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead a diverse team of IT professionals, including engineers, architects, and technicians, ensuring clear communication, role clarity, and accountability. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes creativity, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization platforms. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security across hybrid multi-cloud environments.
- Integration Services: Manage the integration of new technologies and solutions into existing IT systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and minimal disruption to business operations. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and select appropriate integration tools and methodologies.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and best practices to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems and services. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and PMP internal policies.
- Change Management: Drive organizational change initiatives related to IT modernization, including process improvements, technology adoption, and cultural transformation. Develop and implement change management strategies to minimize resistance and maximize acceptance and adoption.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing teams of at least 15 people.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing IT infrastructure, engineering, and integration services within hybrid multi-cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of IT modernization principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- PMP certification required additional certifications such as ITIL, CSM, AWS, Azure) preferred.
Clearance Requirement
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active Public Trust/MBI, or have the ability to obtain one.
