Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for managing the shipment of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers, and maintaining efficient inventory management practices.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and shipping labels.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, completeness, and any damages.
• Package and label products according to shipping requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory counts.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Resolve any shipping-related issues, such as delays or damaged goods.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of shipping activities.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using shipping software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy packages, if required.
  • Operates within required systems (MACOLA, Star Ship, and other systems as required to support shipping requirements.
  • Compliance with Export and Hazardous regulations.
  • Audits outbound shipments for accuracy.
  • Flexible Scheduling to support production and shipping requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate between multiple departments within the organization.
  • Knowledge and compliance of safety, environmental, and health practices.
  • Cross Train within the Stores Department to support flexibility
