Title Java Developer
Location Melville, NY
Duration 6 months +
The developer will be supporting, maintaining & enhancing internal & external websites. In addition to standard software development, this position will perform strong data analysis and design and conduct Test Driven Development/Unit Testing within formal software delivery and quality methodologies. They will work with both internal analysts and business experts and possibly external design and development agencies.
Must have technical skills:
- Strong Core Java
- JSP, Spring , Hibernate, Javascript Frameworks
- XML processing, XSL, Java Design Patterns
- Oracle Stored procedures, PL/SQL,
- jUnit, Ant, AJAX, Web Services.
- Experience with dojo or content management systems a plus
- Strong data analysis, design and testing skills
- Experience using Test Driven Development, Unit Testing/Integration Testing
- Experience with formal software delivery and quality methodologies
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of multiple teams
- Experience working in an Agile environment
