Title Java Developer
Location Melville, NY
Duration 6 months +

The developer will be supporting, maintaining & enhancing internal & external websites. In addition to standard software development, this position will perform strong data analysis and design and conduct Test Driven Development/Unit Testing within formal software delivery and quality methodologies. They will work with both internal analysts and business experts and possibly external design and development agencies. 

Must have technical skills:

  • Strong Core Java
  • JSP, Spring , Hibernate, Javascript Frameworks
  • XML processing, XSL, Java Design Patterns
  • Oracle Stored procedures, PL/SQL,
  • jUnit, Ant, AJAX, Web Services.
  • Experience with dojo or content management systems a plus
  • Strong data analysis, design and testing skills
  • Experience using Test Driven Development, Unit Testing/Integration Testing
  • Experience with formal software delivery and quality methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of multiple teams
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
