Job Description
The Talent Manager will manage the talent acquisition and talent development process across Wonderful Orchards. This position is charged with identifying, developing, implementing, and delivering professional development programs and initiatives that drive improvement in skills.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies, managing one internal recruiter and collaborating with external agencies.
Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to hiring, ensuring alignment with our company goals.
Work closely with hiring managers to create impactful job descriptions and streamline the talent acquisition process, while respecting the final hiring decisions made by business leaders.
Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Talent Management:
Lead initiatives supporting employee skill and professional development
Partner with management for workforce planning including succession planning, coaching plans, and talent assessments.
Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate and enhance employee performance.
Monitor internal trends in hiring, retention, development and turnover.
Compliance and Legal:
Stay abreast of labor laws and ensure company-wide compliance.
Manage HR documentation and records with utmost diligence and accuracy.
Support general HR functions as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development, or related area required. Minimum 5 years of progressive job-related Human Resources experience including talent acquisition and/or staff development required. Or combined equivalent education and experience
Bilingual English/ Spanish
SHRM certification is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges.
Comfortable with training in both group and one-on-one settings.
Skilled in building trust and rapport across all levels of the organization.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000, and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
