Clarifi Staffing Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services in school settings across Georgia. As a School Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping students succeed academically and socially by supporting their ability to perform daily activities and participate in school life. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for children with various needs.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate students’ abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their functional performance.
Provide therapy sessions aimed at enhancing students' motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and executive functioning skills.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate occupational therapy goals with educational objectives and student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Offer guidance and training to school staff and parents on how to support the therapeutic goals at home and in school environments.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss and strategize on the best support and interventions for students.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports in compliance with state regulations and school policies.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Georgia state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensure before employment.
Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred.
Strong understanding of occupational therapy modalities applicable to a school setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to the needs of diverse student populations.
