We are seeking a Wide Area Network (WAN) Network Integration Systems Engineer with experience working with Software Defined Networking (SDN). You will develop, operate, and maintain complex technology systems using engineering principles, theories, and concepts, and to evolve them with advanced technology solutions on-site in the San Diego, CA area.

Pay Range: $97,000 to $167,000, depending on experience
You Will:
- Design and implement of software-defined networking solutions.
- Perform systems engineering services in all phases of a project life cycle.
- Develop and maintain technical system documentation related to system configuration, troubleshooting, and traceability.
- Provide expert level knowledge in systems engineering and information technology.
- Provide technical leadership within a team of both government and industry in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of physical and logical WAN routing and networking solutions.
- Develop SDN solutions across software and hardware to solve problems and implement enhancements.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related taskings as needed.
You Have:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- A Department of Defense (DoD) “Top Secret” level Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim clearance prior to hire date.
- Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science required. Other Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/training may be substituted for four (4) additional years experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency (for a total of ten (10) years).
- IAT Level II Baseline Certification such as a CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
- Network operating environment certification such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and other Cisco SDN components.
- Proficiency in network security principles and access control policies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Minimum of six (6) years' experience engineering solutions for one or more of the following technologies: Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco ISE.
- Experience in engineering and administering WAN solutions.
- Experience in Quality of Service (QoS) technology engineering.
- The ability to work in a dynamic, high paced, team environment.
We’d Be Impressed If You Had:
- Experience supporting the engineering of DOD Afloat Network Systems such as CANES, ADNS, ISNS, CENTRIXS, SCI Networks, SUBLAN, and/or COMPOSE.
- Relevant SDN certification.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
