Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, IT Operations will analyze, propose, implement, govern and continually evolve best practices and processes across various disciplines within Global IT at TaylorMade. This includes Project Management Office (PMO), Demand Management, IT Finance Management, Strategic Planning, IT Performance Measurement, IT Risk Management, Research & Emerging Technologies, Innovation, Vendor Management, Communications and Compliance. He/she will be responsible for leading select IT programs and projects of various sizes, related to but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, global systems, compliance, and audits.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Office (PMO)
Analyzes, proposes, implements, governs best practice IT PMO processes and frameworks.
Evolves and maintains IT PMO standards, templates, etc. on dedicated SharePoint site.
Stays abreast of latest trends and technology in the PMO space and makes recommendations on future direction; regularly disseminates relevant information to senior IT management.
Drives the quarterly executive review of the global project portfolio
Demand Management
Continually evolves the global IT demand management processes for measurable, increased effectiveness
Analyzes, designs, proposes, and facilitates the implementation of supporting demand management technologies and tools that increase the effectiveness of the processes
Drives the global execution of the quarterly IT prioritization process
IT Finance Management
Evolves IT spend reporting and financial KPI tracking
Facilitates the periodic review of the global IT spend and the identification and realization of cost reduction opportunities
Facilitates the completion of finance related AOP process deliverables
Strategic Planning
Stays abreast of IT strategic planning best practices and continually evolves the IT processes.
Facilitates periodic execution of the IT planning processes, driving reviews, business and IT alignment, and updates of IT strategies and supporting roadmaps.
Ensures accuracy and effectiveness of various documents that articulate IT strategy and roadmaps.
Facilitates meetings and offsites supporting strategy planning.
IT Analytics
IT Performance. Continually evolves the IT performance measurement platform that measures the effectiveness of the global IT function and supported services; drives the monthly review process and ensures accountability for resulting action items.
Champions the adoption of analytics within IT globally, regularly measuring the use of data across the global IT functions and regions; continually aligns IT peers on approaches for increasing the effective use of data across roles within IT.
Risk Management
Innovation
Facilitates and promotes innovation – content, culture and mindset.
Facilitates prioritization and maintains portfolio of innovation ideas by the IT department.
Regularly reviews IT knowledge forums and services and disseminates relevant information to global IT management.
Scans the horizon for new technologies that could benefit the company.
Vendor Management
Analyzes, designs, proposes, implements, communicates, and periodically updates vendor management practices including regular reviews and audits.
Communications
Analyzes, designs, proposes, implements, and continually improves the global IT communications processes that ensure the right level of transparency and content around planned IT events, issues, project statuses, policy, trainings, and tips.
Manages and evolves the global IT intranet site.
Compliance
Facilitates regular IT policy reviews and updates by policy owners and ensures accessibility and transparency by employee base.
Facilitates the periodic communications of policy as well as material changes as they occur.
Other responsibilities
Responsible for leading select IT programs and projects of various sizes, related to but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and audits.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Strong, executive facing communications skills, including the ability to create effective, executive facing deliverables (e.g. PowerPoint)
Strong overall business and IT acumen
Ability to influence leadership within and outside of IT
Program / Project management skills
Strong comprehension of various IT process frameworks
Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with IT senior leadership and key business leaders
Extremely detail oriented, self-directed work ethic, and a problem solver
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
Minimum education: 4-year bachelor's degree
Minimum 7 years of work experience preferred in a related field
PMP certification required
Experience in one or more of the following business disciplines preferred:
Operations
Customer Service
Marketing
Finance
Experience with Microsoft Office365 tool set preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage
Ability to work extended hours as necessary
Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach tocompensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining basecompensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, andwork location. The expectedannual base pay range for this position is$125,000 – $135,000.Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays,paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
