Assist in setting and bracing various types of concrete forms including lumber, plywood constructed, Symon or similar.
Ensure proper form elevations are set utilizing a site level, laser level or similar.
Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for issues prior to pouring.
Assist with directing and casting of the concrete pour.
Pouring, smoothing and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float and screed. This process includes both handheld tools and power tools (i.e. power trowel).
Monitoring the effects of the weather on the curing process of the concrete.
Applying sealing and hardening components. Safely operating power vibrator to assist in concrete settling.
Ability to mold and construct expansion joints using joiners and edging tools.
Ability to layout and machine cut control joints in freshly poured concrete slabs.
Ensure that you represent Delta Industrial in a professional manner at all times.
Show up on-time, with the proper attire, tools and safety equipment to complete your daily work tasks.
Participate in the job safety analysis (JSA) each morning prior to beginning work and sign out at the end of each working day.
Complete your daily job tasks as directed by the project crew leader.
Assist the project crew leader with on-site layouts as required.
Notify your project crew leader of any known material or equipment needs as required.
Assist project crew leader with pre-pour checks as required to ensure accuracy.
Obtain and maintain the proper Delta Industrial certifications for operating required construction equipment (i.e. manlift, skid loader, excavator, front end loader, carry deck crane, site-truck, boom crane, etc.)
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times!

Communicate directly to your project crew leader for all items including, but not limited to:
Construction status updates
Material or equipment needs
Safety incidents, near misses or general safety concerns
