ARCH Cutting Tools is looking for an experienced grinder seeking to step into leadership that understands mid to advanced level grinding principles as well as how to run a team.
Summary
Track production goals, ensure machines are running and jobs are assigned to machinists.
Work to increase productivity and participate in weekly Team Lead Meetings.
Troubleshoot any issues that come through your department
Set up, operate, and maintain various grinding machines, surface grinding, OD, Bryant ID griding, etc.
Supervise and train as needed - escalating serious situations to the Plant Supervisor
Ensure your team is completing required safety training
Report various metric to plant supervisor or General Manager
Be a "coach" for your group while also working as an all-star CNC Grinder taking on complicated but rewarding work.

Education and/or Experience
Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
May be required to have experience in OD/ID Grinders, surface grinders, centerless grinders, etc.
