ARCH Cutting Tools is looking for an experienced grinder seeking to step into leadership that understands mid to advanced level grinding principles as well as how to run a team. 

Summary

• • Track production goals, ensure machines are running and jobs are assigned to machinists. 
  • Work to increase productivity and participate in weekly Team Lead Meetings.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that come through your department 
  • Set up, operate, and maintain various grinding machines, surface grinding, OD, Bryant ID griding, etc. 
  • Supervise and train as needed - escalating serious situations to the Plant Supervisor
  • Ensure your team is completing required safety training
  • Report various metric to plant supervisor or General Manager
  • Be a "coach" for your group while also working as an all-star CNC Grinder taking on complicated but rewarding work.

Education and/or Experience

• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May be required to have experience in OD/ID Grinders, surface grinders, centerless grinders, etc.
