Job Description

Position: Tableau Developer - Data Visualization Expert

Where: Nasville, TN
Duration: 12+ mos Contract
Start: ASAP
Experience: 3 - 5+ years

Client is looking for a strategic thinker, analytical, detail /result oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and strong work ethic. A passionate practitioner of effective data visualization.

Roles, Responsibilities, Skills and Experiences:

Experience with designing, developing, deploying and supporting Tableau dashboards
Experience in implementation of Tableau in a large enterprise environment
Expertise in the following

Use of Developer Professional edition v9.3
Tableau Server environment
Expert in developing efficient Tableau extracts off Oracle facts & dimension tables
Knowledgeable in building and educating developers in building of extracts (facts / dimensions) to join and build workbooks or other options
Develop efficient incremental extracts – optimal architecture
Expert in development of efficient workbooks and dashboards
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementation of Tableau in a large enterprise environment.

Tableau Server Administration - installations/ configuration , upgrades, patches, change management, performance tuning, standards/ best practices, mentoring, metadata management, etc.
